Beers and Brush Pens

  • Elysian Taproom 5410 Airport Way South Seattle, WA, 98108 United States (map)

Have you wanted to jump on the calligraphy bandwagon but don't know where to start? Do you also like trying beer that you can't get at your local market?

Good. Because I'm hosting a calligraphy workshop at the Elysian Taproom, in Georgetown.

Start your Sunday off with a brew (first round, on me!) and learn some basic calligraphy skills, that you can use to make your holiday cards, envelopes, letters, or whatever you decide to do, stand out from everyone else's, and raise a glass to...you!

If you've never felt comfortable in ANY sort of creative arts, don't worry! This workshop will give you tips and show you just where to start. I'll be able to answer any of your questions, help you recognize what you need to work on, and just give you the right amount of encouragement to keep you motivated to learn! Beer helps, too, though.

This workshop is great for beginners, anyone who wants to expand their creative arsenal, or anyone who really just wants a couple of hours with friends, beer, and some sort of social activity. Seriously, bring your friends!

We've only got about 15 spots, so sign up today!

**PLEASE NOTE: It is not required for you to be 21+ to attend this workshop, but it is required by law that you be of age to consume the beer served there. But all ages (and dogs!) are welcome to the taproom!**
