Paper ball creative.

Born and raised in the Bay Area and current resident of the Greater Seattle Area. I’m a lettering artist and freelance designer, living through my passions to inspire others to pursue theirs.

I was always an artist as far back as I can remember. I always used to draw Disney characters, and comic book characters, but I always drew them with precision. I always had this obsessive sort of mentality within me. I had a specific way I colored my coloring books. My crayons always had to be in the right shade order. I didn’t like coloring things outside of their natural colors. If the green I used for grass was even the slightest bit too blue, I was annoyed that I couldn’t erase the crayon.

In middle school and high school, everyone asked me to “tag their name” so they could put it on the front of their binders. It was a rare commodity. Until I designed our Senior Class t-shirt, and everyone wore my work around school. Nowadays, I’m still the one people go to, but now I’m making logos, wedding invitations, holiday cards, and tons of other art to provide inspiration, joy, and laughter. All true reflections of myself.

Surprisingly, I never really took any art classes through grade school. There were other things I was interested in: wood shop, metal shop, Junior ROTC. But after 2 years at community college, and 4 years at San Jose State University, I graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design, with a minor in photography.

So it makes sense that I’m a lettering artist and designer. I have always enjoyed the freedom of creation as an artist, but the precision and perfection that a designer achieves.

I’m creating a world where I can make my art speak, both emotionally and visually. There’s always a new plan in the works, and I hope you follow along the way, because I’m just getting started.
