Support a Black Artist in the Greater Seattle Area
The first raffle has been completed!
The canvas below has already been awarded to one of our donors, but I am in the middle of setting up the next raffle item and choosing the next artist recipient.
I am in the middle of some significant life changes so I am taking some time to focus on that right now, but donations are still be accepted and matched by the Belltown Artwalk. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! Other than that, please keep an eye out for updates soon!
If you’re reading this, thank you. Let’s make an impact for the black artist community, together.
With your help, however small, we can provide an artist with some cash to purchase supplies and materials to continue to work on and pursue their passion. As an artist myself, I can understand how challenging it can be to constantly have to conserve and replenish your art materials. It’s not only financially exhausting, but if you don’t make a lot of money from your work, it can be mentally taxing to keep that desire to continue to create. And if that’s what you love most in the world, it really sucks to lose that motivation and drive.
This mission isn’t only dear to my heart because I’m an artist, but it was inspired by the #BlackLivesMatter movement. I am inspired by the ongoing fight of the Black community and feel that the expression through black artists is a story that can not be ignored. I hope that these raffles will raise enough money to support Black artists so that they can continue to tell their story and express themselves through art.

Every dollar from this raffle will go directly to a black artist in the Greater Seattle Area
My goal is to raise at least $250 to give to each artist.
If we raise more than $250, the next $250 will go to another artist, and so on and so forth. As this grows, I want to extend these donations to other artists in other cities and states, so let’s keep this going!

Each entry is $1.
Unlimited entries.
—————
Since each artist will receive a current maximum of $250, I will cap the raffle at 250 entries.
The winner of this raffle will receive this one-of-a-kind lettering piece on canvas. The winner of the canvas will be announced on Instagram, and I will contact them directly to make proper shipping arrangements at no extra-cost.
I will contact each artist who will be receiving the donation myself, and the receipt of the donation will be posted on Instagram as well.
Thank you for your contribution, and good luck!
